australians sound less uptight. tony blair really gets type A in the house of commons. but, i admit, he does express himself well.
i had a friend who's marriage unfortunately fell apart. after weeping for several years - she decided to make her husband wish he'd never done that - and married a younger man who was australian, hot, and sort of muscle bound (construction worker, i think). besides being tanned all the time, he was also something else all the time (unlike her previous husband ? don't really know). anyway, he had time for things. i think this really surprised her ex and yet do you know what i find really strange/funny. after a few years, she tired of 'hot' and just wanted her first husband back. i told her, i think it's a little to late (since he'd already remarried before she did). she is divorced the second time (and i feel a lot of compassion for her) - she wishes that her first marriage had worked out since she has kids.
i guess maybe 'hot' isn't the only thing to look for - but it doesn't hurt. whatever you do, janice, don't be obvious. make them hunt YOU down, and don't settle for anything less than what you want. guys like smart ladies and ones that are sometimes too busy to always say 'yes' to dinner. make them guess, instead of you. i used to get totally infatuated with one certain guy and never said 'no' to a date with him. but, that's kinda boring now that i think about it. you have to have a portion of your life that is yours, that you are completely happy with, and that you don't let others impose on. as time goes on, you'll get to know who it is that you REALLY like vs. are infatuated with.
