I am a 18-year old guy from singapore. I am still a beginner. I wanted to know how many

Well, if you are talking the england examination system such as Guildhall, Trinity, or ABRSM, in which there are 8 grades in total, for a normal casual learner, he/she should take roughly 8 years to finish everything, meaning one year per grade.
However, take note that grade is not an accurate indication of how well you can make music. I've seen so many child prodigies that skip grades so easily. But, even as they get their diplomas or grade 8, well, they still play like kids, immature and devoid of characters. The reason they do so well is because their teachers guide them in everything. Take it slowly, there is no hurry in finishing all the grades, compete with yourself to make good music, and never ever chase grades, you will only stress yourself in the end.
