The Arabeske is absolutely gorgeous. If you can play the Pathetique and Tempest it shouldn't be a problem at all. Also look at "Des Abends" from the Fantasiestucke and the Romance in F#.

I find the Waldszenen as a whole to be truly beautiful and definitely worth a look. They are some of my favorite pieces to play and are true gems of the repertoire.  I wish more pianists would get past the relative technical simplicity and play this set.

Also take a look at the Romance Op. 28, No. 2.  It's a very beautiful piece, not too difficult, and often overlooked.

I find the Melodies in his Papillons, Op. 2 extremely beautiful...

His Kinderszenen contains some precious pieces as well...

I've just posted a recording of Schumann's Intermezzo from Carnaval de Vienne:

It's nice to learn.

Would like to second that. Kinderscenen also has some gems, as does Davidsbundlertanze, the Romances, and many others.

"Of Strange Lands and People". It is easy and sounds so sweet¡¡

His romance in F# is the most beautiful piece i ever heard.

"Forest Scenes" =  :o
The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

Papillons isnt too hard, and it has some great themes/melodies...a personal favorite, give it a listen, if you can.

I also like the ABEGG variations, but that might not be a good candidate for a "beautiful melody"

Scenes from Childhood is good...well, most of Schumann's music is!
