I like the Chopin nocturnes and the concerti and sonatas of Mozart and Beethoven, just to name a few.  But I must say that my favorite overall work is Beethoven's Concerto #3, his only minor concerto.  This piece has such drive and personality that it is hard for one to consider it simply a piece of music rather than a persona with characteristics and attributes within itself!

That's just my opinion, anyway.   ;D

For more than a year and a half the thing I love the most listening and playing has been the 5th Bach's French suite. When I was in the Conservatoire I was obsessed with Scriabin's 3rd sonata -which I played at least and still love as a persona- . And lately my beloved is Prokofieff's 8th sonata -I'm working on it- but I started loving it more than 15 years ago, when I didn't even imagine I could play such a thing...
"Soli Deo Gloria".
