another kid killed
on: October 04, 2005, 02:10:16 AM
Early Sunday morning...a 9th grader at my school, stabbed to death returning from a party (?).

Just last week, a 16-year-old shot nine times because she looked at someone the wrong way.

There have been 6 under-18 murders this year in my city.

What is wrong with the world?  Who knows who these young people would have become if they had lived longer.  It's a damn shame.  And the worst part is, nobody will do anything about it.  The Police Chief said he will not talk with anybody about this because it would be a waste of his time.  What does that mean?

WHY?

sounds like we're neighbors...youth murder is somewhat of the norm around here..and that in itself is saddening...but pretty much..every friday night..people are beefin left n right over the most rediculous things..i remember it was..i think itw as not only2 months ago..someone got shot late at night at a stop light because he wanted the other car's rims...stole the rims..got caught..ended up in jail rim-less..freedom-less..stupid-full

but by far..the MOOOOST stupid but MOOOOST common cause of murder..is..."looking at someone the wrong way"..

yes.  i still remember bill cosbey's son getting murdered.  that was so shocking and was probably the norm then.  it's a very strange world we live in now.  people just want something fast (the car, the rims, the person's rolex watch or jewelry, money, or shoes)  i say, act fast - jump out and run (let them have the car), throwing your money, your watch, your shoes into the air.  at least they can't complain, unless they want you.  in that case, bite.  ps i should say...pray.

i really sympathise and empathise with you.i come from a violent country,it's aweful what people can do. life is cheap to some people, taking it isn't seen a transaction that can't be reversed, rather as an act that should increases your status and street value.*&^%$#@!!!!@#!!!!

JEESUS!!! That is terrible... The Police Chief should get off his fat arse.... The lazy bastard.... But sadly enough, there is something wrong with (some of) the people in America...

I was shocked about the person being shot 9 times for looking someone the wrong way. I hope they catch the bastard that shot the kid and pump him full of cyanide. Crazy motherf***er.

it sickens me to watch bombs going off there all the time and killing so many people. all in the name of senselessness.
Do you have to take precautions when you're walking in the street etc?
I've learned that as long as there is man, there will be murder, it is the animalism that makes people like other animals of the earth, and the most brutal killers of all.
