broken leg
on: October 21, 2005, 02:59:28 AM
The world famous Pianistimo has a broken leg :o!!! On Monday, she took her daughter, Ivana, to the Manderach Park.  Ivana reached the top of a climbing pyramid, when she discovered she could not get back down. She thought Pianistimo would come to the rescue as always and catch her when she jumped. But she was wrong... The pianoforum-addicted computer- hog of a mother got her leg caught around the rope of the pyramid.... and CRACK! She was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and into the ER. The waiting room TV had Mercury  Rising and The Hunted on...i know awesome movies right!?....i mean..... awww poor mom :'(...tripple fracture..... Anyways, Pianistimo is using crutches and will not be able to come upstairs to chat on pianoforum for a couple months. ummm.... bye?

Pianistimo's piano-hating daughter,
Alexis

I wondered where she had been.

So sorry to hear about the leg, sounds nasty.

Why can't you move the computer downstairs??

This forum is not the same without her.

Yes, Alexis, be a good daughter and move the computer downstairs.

(And since you hate the piano, move it upstairs ;D)

Best wishes,
Bernhard.

PS - Hopefully, pianistimo is not doing a "pocorina" :o ;)

sorry, buddy, taken already...

at least it was not the wrist or arm or fingers.  that would be the worst type of injury for a pianist.

Anyway, waht's the idea trying to catch your kids?  You have to teach them you will not always be there for them!!!  See, maybe we have all learned a lesson!   ;)  (just kidding)

That playground doesn't look like it was designed for fun.  Looks like it was designed for splinters....

Mother hasn't passed on love of piano to daughter? Rebellion!  Sedition!

Try sitting down and travelling up backwards, lifting yourself onto each step with the arms. Easier to demonstrate than describe in words - well, that's not strictly true because I live in a bungalow, but... :D

Get well soon etc.
