Thank you Bernhard!
on: October 21, 2005, 08:20:07 AM
Greetings

You are welcome :)

https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php/topic,13344.msg143454.html#msg143454

As I read the above thread and I saw Bernhard's quoted response yet again from a grateful recipient thanking him for one of his thoughtful, insightful, well prepared and knowledgeable answers, it occurred to me that I've see his "You are welcome" many times before.

So, out of curiosity I did a search of Bernhard's posts that had "you are welcome" in it specifically.

The search listed over 125 posts to which Bernhard had responded, "You are welcome.” to the 'thanks' given by someone he had specifically helped with a problem or question.

As most of you know, many of his posts are very extensive in their coverage of a topic, along with the other adjectives that I used above in describing them. He has given a tremendous amount of his time and effort in preparing such responses.

As a result, I would like to take this opportunity to personally acknowledge and thank Bernhard for the time and effort he has put into unselfishly helping others.

Good on you, Bernhard! 8)

With much respect

He is special. A lot if time and thought must of been spent on his 4000+ posts.

I motion we have a collection and get him a case of that wine he likes.

When I was an invisible lurker, soaking up information, Bernhard has been the most important factor in my piano playing. Without knowing my existance, he's instilled all kinds of great habits, and the essential attitudes behind the habits for me. A lot of it's spilled over and improved my life in general.

So, thanks Bernhard!  ;D
