All I want for Christmas is to never have to read a thread from 2003 on the first page again.

...I hope my wish comes early.

apparently such a gift is far to much to request.but maybe.

Reminded me of the classic south park christmas special song:

It's hard to be a Jew on Christmas

My Friends won't let me join in any games..

And I can't sing Christmas songs

Or decorate a Christmas tree..

Or leave water out for Rudolph

cos there's something wrong with me..

My people don't believe in Jesus Christ's divinity..

I'm a Jew, a Lonely Jew.. on Christmas.

Hanukkah is nice, but why is it,

That Santa passes over my house every year?

And instead of eating Ham

I have to eat Kosher Lekeesh..

Instead of Silent Night

I'm singing hou-hazch-tou-gavish..

And what the *** is up

With lighting all these *** Candles, tell me please?

I'm a Jew, a Lonely Jew..

I'd be merry, but i'm Hebrew.. on Christmas.

Hey Little Boy, I can't help but hear,

You're feeling left out of Christmas Cheer..

But i've come to see that you shouldn't be sad

'Cos this is the one month that you shoud be glad..

Because it's nice to be a Jew on Christmas

You don't have to deal with the season at all..

You don't have to be on your best behaviour, or give to charity

You don't have to go to grandma's house with your alcoholic family..

And I don't have to sit on some fake Santa's lap

And have him breathe his stinky breath on me!

That's right! You're a Jew, a Stylin' Jew..

It'd a good time, to be Hebrew.. on Christmas.

Firstly, thank you very much.  I will enjoy my new Yamaha.  Secondly, I must tell you I myself never really had Christmas as a child because our family was so poor, and our family was just starting out as immigrants.  Just recently as an adult, I can afford to buy things that I want.  But sometimes a humble beginning is not always a bad thing.  I have learned to work hard and value what you have.  Early Merry Christmas.  Cheers. ;D

All I wish for Christmas is never to hear anyone call music written for anything other than voice a song ever again.

Other than that a decent grand piano would be nice.
I dont play an instrument, I play the piano.

Yes. I would like to see society wind down to Christmas instead of winding up. Each year we go through this seemingly compulsory and depressing process of people spending more than they can afford, working more than they need to and generally rushing about in a neurotic frenzy like madmen's farts in bottles. In the workplace, everything suddenly has to be done "by Christmas". Why ? Is the company going under if a task is not done until January ? I think not. Assaults will increase, alcoholism will increase, road accidents will increase, divorces will increase - and to what logical end ? None that I can see.

Whatever Christmas means or does not mean to people, my wish would be that they slow down and use the occasion and their holidays for reflection on their lives and where they are going.

As an ex Bank Manager, i absolutely detest Christmas.

It used to amaze me the money people would spend to buy presents and the difficulty they experienced in paying it back. They would live like a king for one day and then like a pauper for the other 364.

However, i do lay a large portion of blame on Banks and the ease in which people on low incomes can obtain large credit.

Oh yes, the way in which banks are promoting credit cards, especially among young people is very destructive to society. My son applied for a modest credit card to tide him over during a job change and they insisted on giving him one with a limit of nearly five figures. He'll be all right because he knows that a loan is not capital but 90% of young people in that position would go berserk.

Where I live, three-quarters of the population are existing on money they do not actually possess. Sooner or later the price has to be paid in real terms, and it's going to hurt.
