Beer is great! At the moment I'm drinking a Foster's Special Bitter pint, which we here in the USA call an "oil can"

One of these and I am set, it's just the right amount...other favorites of mine include Amstel, Bridgeport IPA (Oregon USA), Harp Lager (Eire), Tecate, Pacifico (both Mexico), Kaiserdom (Germany), Samuel Smith IPA (UK), Kingfisher (India), Tsingtao (China) Pilsner Urquell (Czech Republic) and others; these are my current favorites. BTW IPA is India Pale Ale, which evidently was a brew made in India for the Brits who were there. It is probably my favorite brew, it's not too "hoppy". I also enjoy a good Hefeweizen(from a brewery in Oregon again) now and then.
Now here is an inexplicable statement, IMO.....
My favorite beers are Budweiser and Corona I think. Here in The Netherlands those beers are kinda "special" and we normally drink beers like Amstel/Heineken/Grolsch/Dommelsch/Warsteiner etc. wich are nice beers too, of course.
Why are you drinking American corparate weasel piss when you have all those great beers right there? Please explain why you find these "special"..mah bad self is mystified! Inquiring mind wants to know....
When I was in Turkey (wonderful place!

) I drank Efes Pilsen, one of the best beers I ever had anywhere! Can't get it here...

(cryin' in my beer...

) same thing when I was in Australia (equally wonderful, cool animals and plants

) you Aussies keep all the Victoria Bitters for yourselves, can't say I blame you; probably the best beer I have ever had, anywhere from anywhere. Oh yeah the Tiger Beer in m1469sia (excellent reclining Buddha and Turtle Pond in Penang, and I enjoyed KL, great city) was really good too...
Anyway I am glad there is beer, because wine makes me stupid, clumsy and gives me a splitting headache, and hard liquors make me belligerent and unpleasent to be around. And hard liquor isn't good with food IMO.
