Hey everybody thanks for your suggestions. I beleive every single suggestion is very interesting, but I guess it just comes down to what the girl likes. Lately I have been doing some jazz, it has had incredibly good results I recommend you try it. lol.

oh do you know final fantasy? (:
yeah the music in all of them is beautifull...
btw i played them all (and finished) from 1 to 8... didn't play 9/10(/11?)... the best is 7, and the music there is amazing!

The piano music in the end of 8, as well as the during the  title screen of 10, are two good examples.  Most of the reason I played those games were because the music was so good.
Check em out here:
https://ffrecenter.freewebpage.org/pianocollect.html

Now, for making a girl melt, Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 no. 2 is good, as well as Liszt's La Campanella(it would help if played in an echoey room with high ceilings on a good grand piano :))
Another one that isn't exactly classical, but one of the prettiest instrumental piano pieces is one entitled "Nocturne" from Billy Joel's Cold Spring Harbor album.  Hell, it had me choked up playing through it the first time.

I was very zealous in learning a lot of the pieces in Final Fantasy VI.  I did managed to "master" tina's theme and the decisive battle theme, and also learned kids running around town or whatever it was called.

I also learned the FFIV battle boss theme, quite fun to play and listen to.

The 2nd movement of Chopin's 1st piano concerto will do. It is very difficult to play beautifully, but the music is flowing like water and is very appealing to ears especially for women. Beilieve me, it works, and it really pays off.

Many good choices, with Brahms' Op 118, No. 2 (A major) being my first choice.

Then maybe Rachmaninoff preludes Op. 23, No. 4 & 6.

If we get to add orchestra, I'd have to go with Rach 2 and Rach's Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini.

Claire de lune is not romantic, Debussy was an impressionist!
But anyway, the piece is beautiful!

so scholastic eh  ;)

my faves romantic are:

piano: Chopins nocturnes op 48
choir: Mozarts requiem
chamber: dead and the maiden Schubert
choral Nymphes de bois ( a renassaince chanson, certainly u don`t know it 8)
do write to me, donīt be lazy! FC

Jesus, would you mind telling us what your skill level is exactly? I'm guessing you're starting this post because you want to learn something that will "make a woman fall into your arms".

Try one of Beethoven's late sonatas if you are an advanced pianist. The first one, in E Minor, comes to mind. That is a beautiful piece, and very Romantic/romantic.

Or, you could try Godowsky. His musical poem "Avowel" is one of my personal favorites, however, all of his music is beautiful. You could also try his Polonaise. It may not make a woman fall into your arms, but wow, what a great piece! I think it's a hundred times better than Chopin's Ab Major Polonaise. That's just my opinion...

To "make a woman fall in ur arms" !!! I can't suggest anything better than the evergreen, everpopular Fur Elise !! (if she herself doesen't play the piano). I tell you, its a tried and tested one, women just love it!!!!!!!

I can suggest some more too!
1. Canon in D major--- Pachelbel
2. Ecossaise in G major --- Beethoven (If anyone has the score, please let me know)
3. Prelude in G major op. 32-5 ---------Rachmaninov
4. Mazurka in A op. 67-4 ------------Chopin (I love this one)
5. Impromptu in G flat ---------------Schubert
Or i have a still better idea! Why not ask the women on this forum which one they would really "fall into someone's arms" for??
Btw, in the current world of pop n rock n rap and god know what else, these pieces will rather make a woman "fall asleep" than fall in ur arms!! ;D

This is very early stage of Romantique period but I believe F. Schubert's Impromptu G-flat major works well (yes, the one used in the movie Gattaca with Jude Law and Ethan). You need to be really a good pianist though...  ;D

You guys totally crack me up!  I listened to this one the other day for the first time, 'cause my teacher wants me to learn it.  And to me the picture is quite clear- it's definitely tragic - unrequieted love.   Seems to me a girl loves a guy who dumps her, so she kills herself - it's easy to see where in this piece.  My teacher laughed at me, but the story is really clear in the Ashkenazy version!

Now that's an idea I like. You play and get her to fall into my arms  ;D

BTW, whoever thinks slow is not good to please a woman is either talking to the wrong woman or doesn't understand women at all. But then, wo ever does?  ;)

i think someone mentioned the rach paganini 18th var. maybe.

but i'm thinking more along the lines of Rachmaninov Vocalise - mmmmmmm pure goodness -

or maybe that one's too sad... then again who suggested mozart's requiem for goodness sake.
