pyramid schemes don't work. i've tried it with amway. i had to buy all my product from myself (thankfully i only bought soap and water filter). you'll see. you'll have to deal with people coming and looking and then leaving all glassy eyed. people only buy when the pyramid is falling down. somehow, it helps the pyramid rebuild itself. i can't exactly explain this phenomenon - but as i see it - short of hypnosis - (whichm1469used to help her simply grab the crystals out of his hands and shut the door) there is no magic cure-all for financial woes. the days of telling peoople they will get rich in a few years if they simply send one $10.oo bill to five friends - and a message telling them to do the same - and somehow it will all result in a million dollars is past.
it all has to do with expectation. Nowadays people are skeptical enough to question themselves when someone comes up to them with a
get rich quick scheme. Nothing in life is free. It takes hard work, and perseverance. Network Marketing, or what you call pyramids, is as such. The scam where you send $10 to your friend is refered to as a "ponzi", named after the fella who came up with the idea. Network marketing isn't like that. Of course, in all business, there are ethical and inethical people. Corruption is what makes us human.
I believe network marketing is the future of economy. Nowadays , in the traditional business, regardless of where, you see people at the top making money while they play golf. And if you analyse it further, you'll see that traditional business models are also pyramids. Everything is pyramid in structure. It is simply the most stable. Even the food you should consume is layed out in a pyramid. Look at communism. It simply isn't a stable structure because everything is equal, and thus you get a very tall rectangular structure supported by a very weak base. Whereas if you look at say... Old imperial system, where you had a monarch at the top, a 2nd level of advisors, a 3rd level of knights, and the rest further down are the peasants. Its a stable structure. Look at military strucutres. at the top are always a field commander, followed by officers, followed by platoon sergeants followed up section commanders followed by the men themselves.
So which would you prefer. A model where people slave 8-5 each day to earn a living, going further and further into debts because of liabilities, or a model where people at least have the flexibility to live the life they want to live. Noone said it would be easy. In fact, if anyone said it is easy, set your alarm bells ringing. Noone should go into network marketing without being mentally ready to take on what could be a few years of striving, and also be dedicated to it as long as it is necessary.
Anyway i think i've said enough.

just my couple of cents

m1469 said she was 37, but that's in fox year so....
well that can't be right... a fox life span is less than a decade. So assuming that a human average is 70,m1469would be ... a few hundred years old.

or maybe i'm wrong.
