help me improvise!
on: January 03, 2006, 08:44:08 AM
Hey,

I have a question.. For my school(conservatory) we have to improvise recitatives...
How do I have to do that? I made an harmonic plan where I can improvise at.
What ARE recitatives and how can I play them for that subject?
Thanks anyway!

Greetings.

Are you required to be able to improvise on a preditermined harmony such as chords, or any sort of improvisation goes. Feel free to improvise how ever you want(practice is essential thought) on what ever harmony you want unless you must follow a certain preditarmined harmony, whether involving cadences, chord sequence, etc. Please correct me if I misunderstood you.

Best Wishes to all.

I mispelled the word preditermined.
