hahaha thanks indeed

born january 22nd, they named her ella marie

which may seem random, but marie is a variant of my sister's name and ella is the name she called one of her special dolls when she was little, aint that lovely?  :)

Stevie - must know - why do you do everything randomly?  Does this make it difficult to maintain sonata form?

speed and fury - sonata formula?  i thought i was crazy.  anyway, congratulations auntie?  (stevie - please don't tell me that you too are a white donkey).

now that the baby is here - make sure and pass on all that information i posted in your message box.  otherwise - there is no point for an 'auntie.'   you have to actively give advice - so she gets tired of you and doesn't ask you to do any grunge work.

seriously, bring her some food.  i was starving for months afterwards.  babies are like blood suckers - they suck it all out of you.  you eat - and you don't feel like you just ate.  bring her lots glasses of water/milk/milkshakes,too.  dehydrating is a problem sometimes.

really nice name!  cute baby too, i bet.

If your sister lives with you, now is the time to chuck her out on the streets.

In my experience, babies have a randomly bad effect on piano practise, which is intolerable.

oh.  thalbergmad, in your experience!  how many babies have you chucked so far? we need a fair debate in the house of commons on this.  should one 'chuck' a baby for piano practice? how many babies can be legally chucked?

thalbergmad, i guarantee when you have your own (and it looks like the spitting image of you or your wife or your relatives) you won't chuck it.  you may, however, go through several mental thought processes at various times after midnight.  (maybe it's not really mine,  this must be a dream, which of my relatives can take the baby, will this last for years and years - no sleep - will i turn into a zombie).

hope the boyfriend is still hanging around!  stevie has his work cut out if the guy splits.  i hope he doesn't.  just don't put a load of guilt on her.  she's got her hands full already.  keep working on her to get married to the guy - so she doesn't lose his half of the bargain.

the guy shes with is very devoted to her, and really loves her, he stood outside and waited on her during the whole labour, and is changing the first nappies.

i just came back from seeing her for the first time, and some pics were took, shes lovely and both of them are doing well. :)
