3 mvt to Moonlight Sonata
on: January 28, 2006, 11:00:52 PM
I've been learning this piece for a while now, and know it off by heart.. I have all the fingering correct, I know where every note is, etc.

My problem is speed. I can play it flawlessly if I play it slowly.. but when I keep trying to speed up I start making more mistakes the faster I go. It's been like this for a while now and I've slowly tried to increase my speed but I can't seem to get anywhere. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Just stick at it, it is a difficult peice to play at speed and worth the devotion and patience.

How much time do you spend on the piece a day ?

How are you practicing it ?

How long have you been leaning it for?                               :)
