e-z pass
on: February 17, 2006, 06:35:33 PM
not only overdue library books, but unpaid e-z passes (at least in pa) can be put onto your credit report.  (how do i know this?  news on tv a couple nights ago).  make sure you pay your little bills!  don't want your credit score going down over this!

somehow the idea of credit rating is becoming more and more a way to control people, imo.  i think they should stick to credit cards and larger loans.  not that i think small things are not important - it's just that they shouldn't put things under $500. on credit score if you are able to pay them in cash.

hope this isn't incorrect info - but it's what i heard on tv.  anyway - for those of you who are younger - keep up with your rating because it's really important to what loans you can qualify for when you buy car/house.

you can?  i didn't know that either.

i love xenakis,  where are you from?  no interstates nearby, i gather.  don't feel badly.  i used to be from alaska.  just the freeway in calif. alone scared me spitless the first time (having cars zooming on both sides).  now, i can't say i'm a nyc driver yet, but i'm getting better.  i used to jump 2 feet when people blew their horn.  it's like music or something now.

pennsylvania is one of the most difficult states to drive in.  for one thing, all the roads go in circles.  the only way to get your bearing is to get up on hillside and look for the nuclear power plant towers or the direction of the sun.  i've gotten lost here multimillions of times.  you can end up in state parks in no time - or on a freeway for miles.  also, the roads are NARROW here - with telephone poles having 2 inch clearances and mailboxes even less.  the amount of mailboxes that get hit is astronomical.  (why do people decorate them here? - maybe that's the answer)

e-z pass is a pass that you buy for a cheaper rate (i think) than paying the toll in cash for each pass onto a main interstate.

can you say that in less words?  ok.  electronic toll collection.   ;D

Yes I can.

e-z pass is a cheaper way of paying interstate tolls.
