Libetta op 740 Masterworks
on: February 18, 2006, 01:26:01 AM
This is the greateast perfomance in da historie of the piano playing.  For ages i've been dying to hear  these masterworks in their true resplendant glory, and now that they've been finnally recorded on cd I can finnaly understand how to recreate these beuitiful scores in their deeply moving and profound complexities.  Thank god for Libetta so now we can listen daily to our daily bread and most holey sacrament, the Art of Finger Dexterity by the great apprentice of Beethoven, Karl Czerny!

Finally, these masterpieces can be heard by nonpianists along with the bad pianists who haven't been exposed to true staples of the piano rep. A true model for all to follow! When I get good, i'll be able to do these just as good as barescrotum. btw, can anybody do these faster than Libetta? Let me know, i'd be interested to see how fast these things should really go.

You should hear my friend's ultra smooth and fast complete Hanon that he recorded for his Juilliard audition.  He didn't get in.  But they're fast.

Poems of Ecstasy – Scriabin’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

The great early 20th-century composer Alexander Scriabin left us 74 published opuses, and several unpublished manuscripts, mainly from his teenage years – when he would never go to bed without first putting a copy of Chopin’s music under his pillow. All of these scores (220 pieces in total) can now be found on Piano Street’s Scriabin page. Read more
