Ivan Moravec

Why is it that Ivan Moravec is never mentioned alongside the great names of Argerich, Richter, Horowitz etc.? Have many people heard his recordings?
His pianism seems to me to be the most perfect (this is not to say he is the most perfect pianist!),

He's very popular in the US, and plays a lot of concerts here. He's coming to Carnegie Hall in Feb.

I agree. He is one of the best.

HE is incredible!!!!

I like his Chopin, although some people say its to mushy and pedally, and I LOVE his Ravel. Even more than Argerich's... Although for ravel, noone beats Samson Francois in my opinion.!!!
For a good laugh, check out my posts in the audition room, and tell me exactly how terrible they are :)
