His piano music from the film the piano, my fave would be his solo piano piece in A minor.

Greetings.
I just love Michael Nyman's work for The Piano. The Heart Asks Pleasure First, The Promise and Big My Secret are the best.
Is The Heart Asks Pleasure First very hard? What level would it be?
It sounds hard, but it cannot be as hard as it seems. He repeats alot of stuff.

Good musical taste, guys.

Bye for now,

I am mad about Nyman and love everything from the Piano.

The hardest thing about The Heart Asks Pleasure is the cross rhythms. Otherwise it's not difficult at all.

Bach almost persuades me to be a Christian.

A composer who presents minimalism at its best, the heart asks for pleasure first is a captivating piece.

I'd prefer Philip Glass for minimalist anytime.

However, Time lapse by Michael Nyman is one of the best minimalist piece out there.
Bach - Partita No.2
Scriabin - Etude 8/12
Debussy - L'isle Joyeuse
Liszt - Un Sospiro

Goal:
Prokofiev - Toccata
