Yeah, that sucks man. I just bought another gig of DDR 3200 for $100. You should just save up for a full upgrade and build your own comp, it's a lot cheaper. Anyway... yes current games need at least a gig of RAM to run smoothly at higher quality settings, but a good videocard/processor is more important. 15MB of RAM is not going to give any noticable improvement... most likely not even a couple frames per second, but hey, if I were you I might do it. Also, turning off explorer is kind of a pain in the ass because I like to Alt-Tab from games a lot of the time. The "twice as fast" thing is just ridiculous.
