FINALE NOTEPAD 2006 HEEELP
on: April 17, 2006, 02:06:50 PM
HI! This is a composing program I downloaded from the internet. It's free and not very good, but it works for me.
There's just one problem, the program corrects me all the time. If I have a measure in lets say 3/4 I just can use 6 eightsnotes. Yes, that's correct. But I want the melody to be a dotted half note. But obviously this program doesnt get it and I have to deal the 6 eightsnotes. But I just want my first eightnote to be a dotted half note so that I can have my melody.....!!!!!!
If you understand what I mean, please help me, how should I do? Its urgent!!!
sorry!!!!

You can delete everything in the bar by using the mass mover tool (it's a dotted rectangle)...click on it, then click on the bar you want to delete the contents of, and press delete. Then use the toolbar on the top to select the kind of note you want (half note) and also click the square with the dot. There are also keyboard shortcuts, but I'm not as familiar with the ones on 2006, having mostly used earlier versions. Hope that's what you needed to know!
