I hope to audition to as many schools as I possibly can. I'm definitely applying to Julliard, Eastman, New England, and Peabody just to see if I can get in and I know that Ithaca College is my safety. I asked my teacher if I could drop it and play the E Major Scherzo instead, but he said that I didn't have enough time to polish the E Major as well as I can the b-flat minor and that the scope and difficulty of my other rep will cover the fact that it's overplayed. He said that Beethoven Opus 109, Chopin 25/5, and Debussey's Ondine will be original enough and all very impressive. Still...
