Lacoste:

This is my "main" perfume... A lot of girls really like Lacoste it seems. The price isn't cheap, but also not really expensive (about 45 Euro... About 55 $ that is ).

Roma:

When I go out, I mostly use this perfume. Also a really nice one imo.

If you don't know these perfumes, I recommend you to try them out. :)

perfume and cologne testing and smelling is my favorite relaxation 'thing.'  i am, as we speak, sniffing a tester for a men's cologne called 'intuition' which came with some estee lauder stuff.  but, i think estee knows how to make women's perfume but NOT men's.  it smells too, nice?  i think men should smell a bit like a man.

wondering about this new one that has 'nautical' in the label.  forget the entire label.  anyway - from what i hear - certain smells either blend with ur natural body smell or not.  some clash.  it's really a personal thing.

someplace in nyc will do custom scents for people.  i think this is a really great idea.  i hate wearing a perfume that i can smell another woman wearing.  the idea of being unique in clothing and perfume appeals to me.  smell is a very potent thing - but too much of it can turn people off.  maybe for women and men - during the day should just use a body splash or something.  sometimes it causes allergies for others if it's too 'loud.'

also, for men and women i would think scented water (splashed on) would be a lighter scent.  if u pour it in the tub (not sure if u could spray it in the shower?) u could get some nice scent even throughout hair.

was at linens-n-things and they had these really nice scented candles for men (a certain brand).  that seems kinda appealing too.  if u go into a person's home and it has a nice smell - it's more attractive than the no smell or terrible smell.

yesterday - i lighted by scented candles when cleaning the carpet.  it gives the wet carpet a scent to stick to it.  i think when it dries it has a better smell.  i also, whenver i can afford it - put cologne or perfume in the wet vac water and it goes directly on the carpet via the vac.  that is a good way to have a nice smell throughout the house - but takes a while to do.  am starting to hate the regular scents (rose water, lavender, vanilla) and like the exotic scents (mango, coconut, herbal scents).  guess that it's a matter of perspective.  my husband hates scents - so i put it on in the morning and the smells dissipate a little by evening.

My boyfriend wears Hugo Boss or Davidoff's Cool Water. I love both of them. (Cool Water always reminds me of the beach.)

After being away on business, Tim thought it would be nice to bring his wife a little gift

"How about some perfume?" he asked the cosmetics clerk. She showed him a bottle costing $50.00"That's a bit much," said Tim, so she returned with a smaller bottle for $30.00"That's still quite a bit,"

Tim complained. Growing annoyed, the clerk brought out a tiny $15.00 bottle.
"What I mean," said Tim, "is I'd like to see something really cheap.

The clerk handed him a mirror.
Stop analyzing; just compose the damn thing!

at least he didn't give her a tester.  that would be sad.  although, being the cheapskape i am - that's how i get my various colognes for my son.  he has his own favs but - i ask the lady at the counter whenever i shop to give me a few testers.

nautica voyage was the cologne i saw.  didn't smell that one.
also, there's one called 'baldessarini.'  didn't smell that one either.  occasionally i'll walk thru and have a sneezing attack - which means it wouldn't be a good idea to sniff perfumes and colognes at that moment.

i think after shave balms are not used as often as they should be or could be.  usually - taking my son for instance - he doesn't put much on his face in terms of lotion.  i think it's good for ur skin to keep it moisturized.  and, the smell isn't overpowering in daytime.

farenheit, XS, cool water, bluejeans, Tsar, hugo boss-elements aqua. and many more.
i used to like the sweeter stuff like calvin klein, but prefer a maturer spicy spell, not quite at the english leather stage yet!!!

Tsar is probably my favourite scent, also XS and Jazz.

tell us what happens when u wear each one.

my husband ususally says - 'whew.  what's that smell?'  women seem to react more sensitively to scents.  in fact, for some, they are completely hypnotized.  especially if the man is good looking.  it just puts them over the top.  they can't speak.  that's me.  if a piano teacher did that - it would be just plain cruel.  now i see.  u have to moderate ur sexiness during the day.  put on the glam at night.  it's just that if i do, my husband starts coughing and having these allergy attacks.

It's so awful when you come near someone, often a female, and find out that person is surrounded by a cload of chemicals. You just walk, or ever cycle, past someone, one one meter away, and they smell. Sour chemical odor.

The only way a person can smell nice is their natural body odor. This also tells you how compatible you are with that particular person. Strange things happen, a male can smell where a female is in the menstrual period. His body will react to this but he will be unaware of it.

People from cultures unfamiliar with western style perfume have to vomit when they smell it.

I guess people rather smell bad because of expensive perfume than smell bad because of their own body odor.

if men's bodies naturally reacted to that - why would they keep asking where a woman is on her cycle.  it would be a subconscious known thing.  men are oblivious of anything indirectly obvious (including mood swings).  it is used as an excuse once they find out ( when the women tells them) but doesn't dare be used beforehand - just incase it is not true.  in any case...men cannot win by bringing up where a woman is in her cycle for any reason other than the obvious.  but even that can be offensive - so better not to bring it up and just ask in general what her mood is.  u can usually tell by the first words out of her mouth when u get home.  of course, if u are really talented, u can change her mood.

am starting to hate the regular scents (rose water, lavender, vanilla) and like the exotic scents (mango, coconut, herbal scents).

i have the same problem - i'm tired of classic stuff. what i've just found (and if you like fresh tonic herbal scents, you'll love this) is bamboo and green tea (i got these from yves rocher). if you don't know these already, you must try a tester.

I like the way women smell after swimming at the beach. My first girlfriend was allergic to perfume and she never smelled bad. Bacteria cause bad body odour and she kept herself and her clothes clean and therefore didn't need to mask anything with artificial chemicals. I much prefer the natural scent of a woman. I dated another woman who also hated artificial smells. She didn’t use perfume and didn't like me wearing any cologne. That said, I wear Hugo Boss now.

I like that one that smells like pine; I notice someone wearing it every now and then, but I never found out what name it has or where to get it. (anyone here know??) and Tim Hortons came out with one that smells like fresh coffee

other than cool stuff like that, I think other than a decent deodorant, you dont need any of those chemicals to function in normal society.

yeah, how bout them phermones?  I was watching Daily Planet, and Jay Ingram was talking about a recent study where they put phermones into perfume and sent test subject on a round of speed dating.  It turned out that those with phermones added had a statistically higher success rate.  However, the perfume costs some crazy high price
