Does anyone have the Libetta L'escalier vid?
on: June 18, 2006, 07:20:33 PM
I've had it queued in eMule for the longest time. Very frustrating.

Also, what's the URL for that forum that has a section specifically dedicated to uploading piano videos?

I found it. All I have to say is... HOLY SHIT! He plays it so effortlessly.  Sounds very much like Aimard's recording, but sped up.

thats the perfect way to put it. thats a wonderful performance of thjat etude. i only wish he would play some of the other etudes thatr ligeti wrote. his video is very much like fredrik ullén's recording, who i think plays it the best overall.

Has anyone actually played all of the Ligeti etudes uptempo during a concert?

Even playing the 5 hardest of them (L´escallier is not one of them according to me) is a great challenge even for the best of the best.

Anyone heard Uhlén or Aimard play them live?

I'm really interested in seeing this video but I can't find it at gaming force. It says my account may not have sufficient privileges. Any advice?
