Composer-o-rama. Are you in, or are you out?
on: June 24, 2006, 10:57:49 AM
Ok, I don't know if this is the right board, but anyway...

When I was eating just now, I thought of an interesting game which I could include here.
The name is Composer-o-rama (I hope you'll like it). Let's go through the rules:

1. (If you want to) Simply type the name of a COMPOSER in your reply.
2. If you are not the first person to reply in this thread, please look through the other replys before yours. If the name of the composer you already have in your mind has been sent by another person, you cannot repeat it and must think of another one.
3. (Very important!!!) Once you have already posted your composer, you cannot post another one. (Yes, you can only type down one.)

If you have any questions, send me a reply. Good luck! The game starts now!!!

I'll be the first...  ;D

One of my faves:

Sergei RachmaninoFF

Yes, 2 'F's instead of a 'v' because that's what he preferred and how he signed his name.

 I choose Liszt.
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

Henryk Górecki, more so in his minimalist years of composition. Discovered his Symphony No.3 which won awards at some competition, it's really good.
