You may be a great pianist, if you have only a small repertoire, as for example Anton Batagov, who recorded the complete 20 regards by Messiaen and the great piano works by Ravel (I think, Batagov is the best pianist from all I ever heard)
but normally
a real pianist is someone, who plays 60 concerts upwards pro year, has a great repertoire which includes many of the great piano works from Bach, Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin, Brahms and so on.
