In today’s scene, many competition organizers have started including additional elements for judging with a focus on preparing the competitor for a real, multifaceted musical life that reaches beyond prize money and temporary fame. Does anyone here have
Piazolla - Le grand tango.

It's a duet for piano and cello.

I have the piano score already, the berben piano version (the blue cover) and I would like the cello score.

If it's a different edition, can you also upload the piano score with it too please?

Thanks!
Bach - Partita No.2
Scriabin - Etude 8/12
Debussy - L'isle Joyeuse
Liszt - Un Sospiro

Goal:
Prokofiev - Toccata

Please do not request or upload copyright protected pieces or editions here!

If there is a copyright notice such as in the Piazzolla score you scanned (see below) this means that the published edition is not in the public domain until at least 70 years from the copyright year.

As if this wasn't enough of bad news the piece in itself will not be in the public domain until 70 years after the death of the author. Since Piazzolla died in 1992 this will happen 1 January 2062.

Copying, sharing or making available works protected by copyright is against the law in most countries and it is consequently not allowed here at Piano Street.

If this rule is not followed we might have to close the Sheet Music Requests board and disable attachments in the repertoire section.

Nils, i suggest you make a sticky in this board about this issue to clarify. Most people who break these rules just arent sure about what to ask for and how the copyright is treated. (Ok ok they should have read the rules first but whatever  ;) )

Women and the Chopin Competition: Breaking Barriers in Classical Music

The piano, a sleek monument of polished wood and ivory keys, holds a curious, often paradoxical, position in music history, especially for women. While offering a crucial outlet for female expression in societies where opportunities were often limited, it also became a stage for complex gender dynamics, sometimes subtle, sometimes stark. From drawing-room whispers in the 19th century to the thunderous applause of today’s concert halls, the story of women and the piano is a narrative woven with threads of remarkable progress and stubbornly persistent challenges.
