A bit of help with la campanella......

hallo! I just finished la campanella, but there are some problems with mastering it.... at the 3rd variation of the 1st page, there needs to be a fast 4,5 movement with the fingers... is this the only way of doing it, or is there an alternative? I find that I always have trouble finishing this part as it tires my finger very fast.
