I love his interpretation, very interesting and operatic allthough not technically perfect. It's very enjoyable. thanks
That video is from when he won the Liszt competition in 1989. I have seen him a year ago, he basically plays with the same intensity and pleasure, but without the wrong notes .
Who cares about wrong notes!!!!
Stupidly enough, only the jury of major competitions do.
I was saying there were a bit wrong notes cz you said "but without the wrong notes ."My point is, he playes wrong notes but very good interpretation
It was a very goor performace of this piece Thanks for postingBut one thing, u guys are prolly gonna kill me for this, but i like the way LangLang brings out the bass in this piece in the theme near the end.It sounds more strong like that(well maybe just for me) some of you will say that he's a clown and blah blah blah, but he knows how to release tension where it's needed
I know everyone hates it to death, Lisitsa's INTERPRETATION is my favorite. She does lose control (Majorly.) near the end, but I love her ideals for the peice.
I hate her Don Juan! She is just horrible-absolutely no music-just technique and no feelings.. and yes-she lost control many times, even her last chord wasn't clean.. I don't like those show-off people...
