Jazz Piano - Improving Improv with play-along books

Hi,

I've been playing piano for 20 years (started as a child) and have been learning Jazz Piano for ~4-5 years now and am doing fairly well I think - I play mostly by fakebook/ear as opposed to theory (was taught completely by ear by an old school lounge player).  I would like to improve my improvization...

I was disappointed in the Aebersold books/cd's that I got...while the audio materials provide the rhythm section so you can play along with the standards and improvise, there was no example improv line...  Any suggestions on a good book/cd combo that gives examples of improv for all the standards.  I learn best by ear so simply seeing and playing along with a transcription (Ie. getting the feel) would probably be easist for me as opposed to a book that dives way into theory. 

(I had a teacher once that simply would trade 8's with me -- I learned a great deal that way as I was simply attempting to mirror the feel of his improv on the spot -- way more than by reading -- this is what I'm trying to emulate)
