Pixis(!)

I often think of starting a thread on a forgotten composer, but feel there would be little interest.

Pixis anyone??

Thal

Ok then - do you have his variations on Robert le Diable? :D

Thank you.  Something told me you would have this.

Perhaps it was just a hunch? (bad, and obtuse joke!)

Not as good as the Liszt or Thalberg versions, but worth an outing.

Look forward to your recording old chap. This cannot have been played for yonks.

It looks easier than either the Thalberg or Liszt. Not simple of course, but it should be fun to investigate it properly.
