george washington's vision dealt with three perils to the usa.  the 'republic' - as it is called in the vision

OK - you told us about the first two but what about the third one? - and, as I asked before (but you didn't answer), can you be sure that all three haven't already occurred?

but God's unified world will not be a republic or democracy or anything like that.  i think that it will be a theocracy.  so, george washington - when watching this vision could come up with any sort of interpretation that he figured would fit

Are you now saying that, having mentioned these GW visions, you believe that they were flawed because they don't conform to your interpretation of "God's unified world" and that GW therefore had to come up with an interpretation of his own which was as flawed as his visions themselves? Leaving aside the veracity and/or credibility or otherwise of any that, why did you wheel GW's visions into the arena in the first place?!

Making his visions still less valid and/or credible? I'm even less clear now as to why you mentioned them...

but, what i am saying - is we are SEEING with our very eyes everything that was prophesied to happen - happen.

What things? How many of them. If three, which is/was the third? And prophesied by whom, Biblical authors? GW? And are we still only talking about events in America?

people are not realizing this is a spiritual war - between satan and God and satan is using some people as pawns.

Jumping around again - now we're off America and off Jerusalem and onto a spiritual war of some kind. And God is King. Ah, well, Pawn to King 4...

they will not be in the kingdom of God.

Who won't - the pawns? So they don't play chess in the Kingdom of God, obviously, because one cannot do that without pawns.

Apart from the litany of questions that have had to be asked here, I still have those other much earlier questions about my sinfulness unanswered; can't you leap about again and land on them?

but, how could george washington fully understand this vision.  he saw a glimpse of our time.  we are actually living it.

you'll see that only the first two perils (revolution and civil war) were actually fulfilled. the last peril is said to come by sea.  all i'm saying is that the bible speaks of a similar 'peril' called the last days where a 'beast power' (world ruling empire) begins to take control of nations around the world.  how else will they rule the world excepting using computer and technology against us.  our own systems (put into place by people who know) are going to be used as surveillance against us and not for us.  this is how dictatorships work.

churchill was scoffed when he warned people about the third reich (the fourth one is mentioned in the bible - as the beast power) - so i'm not surprised that a lot of people laugh now. but, no one was laughing after wwII.  we haven't seen a world war in a while - so people think it's funny.  but, i'm serious.  i think there will be a world war III and i think it will happen soon.  and, i think that the only form of protection is God.  we will not be able to buy or sell without buying into this one-world system.  it will control buying and selling.  the bible says so.  we are told not to accept 'the mark of the beast' - for whatever purposes anyone tells us we need it.  we don't need it.

that is why people should become close to Him now!  later is too late.  it is a time of 'sorrow'  and 'great tribulation such as the world has never seen nor ever will again.'  don't put your faith into the stock market - but set your hearts towards the kingdom of God.  it will remain long after everything else has crumbled.

I admit wholeheartedly that the kinds of world event of which you write and which you strive to identify - sometimes clearly, though far more often very vaguely - are no laughing matter. However, you will keep seeing the hand of God in all this, whereas there have quite obviously been major catastrophes, natural and otherwise, since time immemorial and yet you still seek to plug your doom-and-gloom Biblical-prophecy-oriented stuff as though you have a wisdom that others do not - and the stuff of this promotion is a profoundly unhealthy and anti-humanitarian fear-mongering with which it pains me to be left unable not to credit you.

AND YOU HAVE STILL NOT ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS! I know that you write that you are not a judge, but I am obliged to say that I think that this is just as well, really, since you habitually avoid answering questions which habit, were you a real judge in a court of law, would constitute sufficient of an indictment against you to warrant your permanent disbarring from the judiciary.

Would you please just humour me (and any other readers that may be interested, if any) either by answering all my outstanding questions or by giving us all chapter and verse about why you will not be doing so?

have you seen the devastation from the tornados in alabama and the mid-west?  do you remember the bible story of Job.  God allowed Satan to test job.  we, as americans are being tested.  why?  to see if we will turn back to God and repent for our sins and be right before him.  He wants all of us to be in his kingdom - and will use whatever means are necessary for ALL TO BE SAVED.  He died so that 'the world through Him might be saved.'

I think we got a C+. That's passing. Hooray we all get saved.

i don't doubt it!  and, you know what.  it is amazing how God works because through trials and devastation people come out much more aware of what is important in life.  God is always #1.  i learned that with my leg and knee.  when i was told that i might need complete knee replacement - i started thinking about what i should have used my knees for.  prayer.  i always thought i was so busy - and would pray standing doing the dishes and running out the door - driving in the van, whatever.  but, we also (speaking to self) have to make private time just for us and God.  the prophet daniel prayed three times a day in the privacy of his home - kneeling and bowing and showing respect and reverence to God.  there is no command one must do this three times per day -but i think that the muslim and jewish communities far exceed the christian ones in this matter.  it is really a true belief and reverence for the 'great deity' - the Almighty.

ps  alistair, i think i already answered your outstanding questions on another thread.  i wish you the best in your composition projects and think that Jesus himself (not being married) wasn't particularly worried about people who choose not to marry and procreate.  btw, i also don't thnk marriage is entirely about procreating - although it tends to just follow along.  i have several good friends that are happy with their lives just as you are (and i consider you a friend, too) - and wouldn't bother trying to convince them of anything different.
