i think pineapple sounds kind of refreshing in a burger. not the same old same old. although, i have to agree that in-and-out is hard to beat for good ingredients! we used to live in california and would go there about 10 - midnight if the three year old wasn't sleeping. from all the ruckus from the intercom (and teenagers partying in the area) and him slurping a milkshake - he'd go to sleep as soon as were on the way back. in-and-out - always meant to us - in to get a milkshake - out like a light.
my husband got hold of a bumpersticker and i pleaded not to put it on the car we drove - but he did it anyways. never lived that one down. it wouldn't come off either. i tried as i might to get it off. it wouldn't even take black permanent marker - because it was shiny. so, the car had this bumper sticker for 10 years. coming to conservative pennsylvania, it didn't go over too well. the neighbors thought we were from outer space.
speaking of steak houses now - isn't there a really grand one in texas. trying to remember the name of it. wow. they had good steak. i think it was 'morton's' or something like that.
