Yea.  Dodson's Liszt TE10 is stunning!
For us musicians, the music of Beethoven is the pillar of fire and cloud of mist which guided the Israelites through the desert.  (Roughly quoted, Franz Liszt.)

You liked it, eh?  It goes to show there are no absolute truths in music.

My favorite was the guy that played the Kapustin and the other dude that played volcalise.

Overall, everything I have seen is very well done.  Great spirit!
Money does not make happiness, but it can buy you a piano.  :)

Does anyone have the sheet music to Thalberg's Fantasy on "Casta Diva" from Bellini's Norma, Op. 70  that Esfir Ross is playing?

Thx

Well, if  you didn't like it, that's ok. At least it was a clean, and well done performance.  It may not be Berman's standard, but she's just an amateur.
