R.Schumann- Piano Concerto in a minor
on: June 05, 2007, 01:22:19 AM
Hi everyone,
I asked my teacher for a concerto today and she decieded to give me R.Schumann's- Piano Concerto in a minor. This is the 1st concerto that i've ever learnt so it is going to be a challenge for me. Any advice or tips welcome!

Great Piece! I just learned the first movement a few months ago. I don't think it's easy thats for sure. It helps tremendously if your hands are big. If you have tiny hands your in trouble. I would play a Mozart or something.

thanks! I have small hands but i've been training my hands to do a lot of solid-chords and octaves as my teacher said that i've learnt all i can technical wise for small hands, so i'm pushing myself as I want to get much further and learn to deal with it. Actually,i just tried it and i seem to be able to cope with it.
