DUEL with imbetter: Mozart Fantasy c-minor KV 475
on: June 16, 2007, 08:22:25 AM
This is my second duel. All in all I am more satisfied with this one than with the Rach prelude. I needed two takes, the last part from M. 130 (Piu allegro) has been recorded separately, I joined the two files. It's also not yet where I would want it to be but alas :P

Have fun! :)

We eagerly await the excuses of the master.

1. My house burned down
2. My school flooded (think this one has been used before)
3. My next door neighbours parrot has got the plague and i have been evacuated.
4. Someone stole my piano
5. One of my horses severed an electric cable and my recording equipment won't work.
6. I am too busy with the Don Juan

and, if youre lucky, there might be some people that think you can. after all, you can play ballade 1, right? you might as well record that instead, seeing as you promised to put it on youtube at least 6 months ago.

*is disappointed*

The point of a duel is to have fun, and you don't back out of one just because your recording is not what you wanted it to be. You made the decision to accept the duel, and now you should own up to your own words.

NONEXISTENT

IBTY actually called me up today, very upset. His dog knocked the camera off the table- breaking it and opening it up. The dog proceeded to steal the film and make off with it. IBTY at the time was about to set off fireworks through his living room window, and in his HORROR at his dog left a lighted firecracker... in his piano. Alas. Poor piano. It blew up, along with the sheetmusic.. and the dog.

IBTY will not be able to post recordings anymore.  :'( :'( :'(

Do you have a duet version? IF I actually can manage to visit you we could take a rec for ps lol ;D But I can't play the adagio that fast, no way. It would hurt. This needs time to breathe. :P
