0-60mph in 1.67 seconds necessarily means acceleration at more than one G. Doesn't matter how funky your drive and suspension are, the only way anyone has ever got a car to do that is the way dragsters manage it - hold the car back while you spin the tyres so that they start to melt and quite literally glue the car to the track. Then let it go, catapult style. I'll be pretty surprised to see any car, with any engine, drive system, tyres etc., do any time much under 3s without such tricks.
