A couple of questions concerning Bach.
on: December 18, 2007, 10:19:01 PM
First I´d like to ask if anyone knows if there´s a significant difference beetwen the old Henle edition of the 2 part- inventions (anno 1955) and the newer ones. I´m starting to feel quite excentric here about all the different editions Im studying. ;) Its mostly the fingerings Im curious about.
I´d also like to know if anyone knows where I can find Rosalyn Turecks: (if I can find it, it seems to be long out of print) "An Introduction to The Performance of Bach". I noticed someone on this site had it as torrent a year ago or so but the link doesnt work anymore.

Also if anyone have any recommendations on pianists beside Tureck and Gould when it comes to interpreting bach. Preferably someone with Turecks approach  ;)

I hope this post is in the right forums, cause I wasnt really sure where it would belong.

Thanks /Petter
