Impressive.  How did you do that?  A ZoomH4 recording?  Use the computer (Audacity?) to record both tracks together?

I think I know.  You might want to turn the reverb off though, esp if it's trying reverb it twice.  If I heard what I think  I heard.

Well, I now want a mixer or some kind of program where I can layer different tracks onto each other (I currently have *no* idea how to do that through a program).  What I was resigned to doing was playing my first recording through my computer speakers (not good speakers) and then singing along with the recording in harmony, and recording those together with edirol.

Yes, the reverb is a problem, I don't like it.  However, I don't have the original clip anymore without reverb, and since the second one is me singing in a acoustically unfriendly room along with a reverb recording coming over yucky speakers, the sound of both recorded came out stupid and uneven unless I put reverb on the whole thing (it was less stupid to do that).  Anyway, it's not like I am trying to make some kind of professional recording here, for now it's just for fun of course.

But, I will admit I feel that endless pit within me just wanting to open up and figure out a million different things to purchase to give me something I could really have fun with ....  :- ;D :'(

Mmm... I thought something like that.  I think the reverb is reverbing the original track.

If you do use a multi-track thing on a computer, start with a beat track (the conductor) then adjust everything else to that.  That's what I do.  One track has to be the leader.  After three or four, things start to get blurry and the beat gradually moves away.  With a conductor track you have that reference point to listen to each time.  At the end, you remove the beat track and everything is as close as you were during the recording.

Ok, I had a bit of fun... hope you like it!  ;)

FYI, my microphone is about 10 yrs old and I actually paid less than $30US for it brand new at Radio Shack... haha you might not notice at all.

m1469's singing the melody and I'm singing the other 3 parts I arranged.   This way I get to sing with m1469..  8) :-*

This reminds me of those little ditties that play before a movie starts.

P.S. You have a really deep voice :)

I sometimes wonder if ear worms are good or bad.  If you have one, at least you know your mind is thinking with music.

Duke Ellington killed the ear worm though.  The ear wom took the A Train.
