Hello everyone!
I need a bit of guidance on how to move forward. Any help is greatly appreciated!
My piano skills are quite poor; I've been playing pop and mostly chords but that's about it. However, I can read notation.
Now, I want to learn romantic music, emotional music - music that makes me happy and makes me cry. It doesn't have to be very complicated all the time, and it doesn't need to conform to exact rhythm either. I don't know if anyone has heard or can get a hold of the odd tracks on (one of my favorite albums) "Forever" by Dune, but I think that's my cup of tea here.
Any general advice would be lovely, but here are a couple of questions: Where can I find this type of music? How should I practice? Are there any special practice sheets? (I found some in the PDF archive of this site.)
Also, do you know the artists that have made the piano tracks on Dune - Forever? On the record it says "Burhoff / Oettrich". Do you know how I can get the notation for these tracks?
Thank you so very much in advance!
Edit: Due to the ambigouity of the term "romantic", I replaced the word with "emotional" in the subject.
