Beautiful textures but you should watch your phrasing. There are some unsensitive moments (I'm not asking for more rubato necessarily, since it would be unsuitable for Ravel). Anyways amazing performance overally.

Hi doxy,

This is a very impressive rendition of Une barque, one of my favorite pieces.  Your playing and musicianship project the imagery in a most expressive way.  Congratulations on this very fine performance at Wigmore Hall!
Interpreting music means exploring the promise of the potential of possibilities.

Loved it :D

You show great tonal and technical control! Maybe jsut a little bit to fast for my taste, but that is just personal.

It is faster than usual but the clarity is great. The sense of movement is very well done. I can't find the words I want to describe.
It's actually quite an amazing recording...4.8/5!
This would go on my ipod...if i had one.

Hello kard, mephisto, tds, rachfan, thierry 13,
Many thanks for your kind comments, it really was Steinway Rollce Royce Phantom model, almost plays by itself. Carries one away far beyond comprehension sometimes..

Please note new link to hear my WH recordings which is as follows:

https://www.last.fm/music/Dorian+Griner%2C+Piano/Dorian+Griner+Live+from+Wigmore+Hall%2C+London+April+2008

The concert went very successfully as it was wonderfully promoted by Grant Rogers Musical Artists Management.
Steinway Grand model D was really responding to any request of possible imagination within our frame of omniversal reference. It is such an honour to play at one of the finest venues in our galaxy.

Location recording by Mike Skeet, using Schoeps Microphones.

Complete recital can be listened on my Last.fm page above, incl. Bach, Liszt, Chopin, Ravel and Debussy.

My renewed thanks for the listen!
