Possible to put video from website to youtube?
on: April 27, 2008, 12:14:25 PM
Is this possible?
I'm watching to Evgeny Brakhman on the website of the Rubinstein competition, where he plays rachmaninoff sonata and other stuff. I would like to put this on youtube. Is this possible? How? :p

Thanks in advance.
Currently learing:
- Chopin: Ballade No.3
- Scriabin: Etude Op. 8 No. 2
- Rachmaninoff: Etude Op. 33 No. 6
- Bach: P&F No 21 WTC I

Well, you might run into difficulties with that if you do not own the copyright for the Brakhman video...  You can only post videos to YouTube if you own the copyright.

However, that aside, it can be done.  First you will need to find the video file.  If you look at the source of the page where the video is displayed, sometimes you can find the path and filename of the video.  Then put that path and filename in your browser and it should download it.  If that doesn't work, another thing you can do is use a software program to record the video and audio in the stream from the website.  If you're creative, you can do anything.
