8 easiest out of 26
26?
yes, 26
I can't rank them, but I think the hardest preludes are:d minor preludebb minor prelude f# minor prelude g# minor prelude eb major prelude c major prelude eb minor prelude easiest are: e minor prelude b minor prelude a major prelude c minor prelude I can play most of the preludes, probably up to the bb minor prelude. Even it's very hard, it's just a cluster of sixteenth-notes, which you can spot even in the easiest Mozart sonatas. The d minor prelude is probably impossible for me. The left hand has leaps that span 1.5 octaves that even Liszt can't do. And the right hand goes into technique so godddamned complicated that even people like Pollini and Rubenstein can't explain. The prelude is hardest than many of Chopin's Etudes, which are generally harder than the Preludes. The g# minor's technique is similar to Chopin's Op.10 No.2, except it's a bit slower.
Hey that's a nice list. You did something right for a change
