My favorite sport is soccer, even though I also like ice hockey, football, swimming, running, and cricket.

I like soccer too. But I also like volleyball and baseball. I don't really know how to figure skate, but I've been skating a couple times and that's fun.

Playing or watching? Playing, I would have to say swimming, since it's the only one I can do with ANY level of competency (and I'm not exaggerating - it's hard to imagine anyone as non-athletic as I am). But I love watching figure skating and gymnastics  :)
It all happens on Discworld, where greed and ignorance influence human behavior... and perfectly ordinary people occasionally act like raving idiots.

A world, in short, totally unlike our own.

I love watching figure skating and gymnastics too. But every time I watch it I wonder how they do it and wish I could do it.

I used to be quite good at table-tennis.

I also used to train in Martial Arts, but have probably forgotten most of that.

But, I love to watch a good game of Cricket.
Never played very much though.

my favourite sport is eating bananas as I slap a fish in a cookie in my uncle's house seeing outside the sun rising.
It's a very famouse sport and with international competitions around the world. Wherever there is an uncle, bananas, fishes and cookies, I'm there

Ah, now you're talking! Mind you, if you partake of this far from trivial pursuit at anything like the same metronome marks as you do driving bicycles and cars, the results and outcomes must at very least be - er interesting...

Happy jogging!

Not unless i learn to shoot a bow with one arm.
But surely such versatility would not be beyond a talented banjolier such as your inestimable self? I admit that you'd have to be a bowyer with talents at least as special as those of Mr Kevin, but... Anyway, I daresay that your idea of simultaneous traditional archery and arm-wrestling would involve twisting someone's arm to play a piece by Pixis or Pinto while listening to an episode of Britain's longest-running soap-opera...

My favouite sport is Sorabji Darts.

You nail a copy of the OC to a dartboard and see if you can hit a space where there isn't a note.

Points are deducted if you hit a melody.

My favouite sport is Sorabji Darts.
Does he?...

You nail a copy of the OC to a dartboard and see if you can hit a space where there isn't a note.
OK - well first you purchase such a copy (available from The Sorabji Archive, price £60 for either the copy publication or a copy of the autograph ms.), then you do some weight-lifting exercises to ensure that you can hold the said copy up against a dart board while also holding a nail in the same hand and hammering in the nail with a hammer held in the other hand (perhaps this might be where your arm-wrestling prowess might come in handy) and then you try to throw darts anywhere in the margins outside the musical text (surely far from difficult for a expert dartist such as I imagine you to be).

Points are deducted if you hit a melody.
And what do points mean? Prizes! (such as those mentioned in another recent thread, perhaps)...

Best,

Alistair
