Hey everyone! Okay so my sister is getting married in April and she wants me to play at her wedding. I'm not gonna be doing the whole wedding because the church they're getting comes with an organist....which since I don't play organ well and don't know the wedding march, i'll just let him do. But, I'm wanting a suggestion of a piece to play. I think I'm playing before the wedding, kind of as a precursor. I want a fairly light happy piece....maybe something like Claire de Lune? [Actually that wouldn't be such a bad idea....haha]
But, any suggestions? the piece would need to be not to incredibly difficult.. I can play pretty well....but no suggestions like a Chopin Ballade or Nocturne, I'm not quite there.
Okay I could probably do a Nocturne, but you get it. Preferably no pieces above a level 6 or a low seven.
Note: NO CANON IN D. My sister has told me she doesn't want that....and I really don't like the piece much. I appreciate the genius that went into making it, but I don't wanna bother perfecting playing it.
Edit: I was just told I'll probably be playing for 15-20 minutes before. So I'll need a few pieces. Claire De Lune will be my last one as decided by my sister, so now I need probably two or three more good ones. Thanks!
