"UNIVERSITY"
on: June 15, 2009, 07:01:27 AM
For those of you who have studied or currently studying at University, is it possible to enroll half way through the year and start studying, or is it impeccable to start during the beginning of the year during the first semester???(pardon my ignorance, i have never been to Uni and i suppose this is the wrong place to ask except the University itself lol)

I don't see any difference. Fall, spring, summer. Doesn't matter.
There are some classes that are set up along certain tracks though, that the uni might expect people to start in the fall. From what I see, things are very flexible. I think anything is possible.
Even if you have to take a class at a certain time, if you start in the spring and the class is only offered during the fall, that's just eight months away. That's not really so much time in terms of a degree. Just fill in with whatever classes are offered. Taking a class at another place and transferring credit it sometimes an option too. Or enrolling half-time, so you're in but barely taking any classes and then becoming full-time later.

I believe so you can, Illuminist, enroll half way through the year. I know in the usa, people can enroll like for a semester which begins in September through December. Then another semester begins in January through May. There is also a Summer semester(I did those too) from June to August, which depends upon the course of study. Look up the University online and I am sure you will find the information about enrollment and what you can do. Good luck!
best wishes,

As long as you keep up with your payments they are happy
Really as soon as you accept their offer of admission, you can choose how you wish to go about your studies. Some do full time, some do part time. However just be aware depending on how many courses you take and when you take them the uni can consider you full or part time. You may loose some perks when you are part time.
I haven't come across maximum amount of time to finish a Bachelors. However I have seen limits for graduate degrees, usually focusing on the time to complete a thesis or dissertation.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
