i thought it was pretty obvious that im a circus freak by now. I enjoy being a circus freak. I like moving my hands quickly while ignoring an organized concept.
Yeah, it's obvious that you are a circus freak, but that doesn't mean you have to produce elementary and showy gibberish to attract an audience. They just won't remember you afterward if there isn't any sort of substance to what you are doing, and we all know that the best art stands the test of time. I'm not saying you have to be the next huge thing in the music world, but it would be nice to see that you tried to at least be a balanced musician. And besides, there are enough circus freaks out there (like Lang Lang). We don't need any more. If you give your music some substance, and some glue to hold it together, people will remember you and respect what you do more.
retro im not saying that you have to be able to do something to give advice on it but...what can you do.
Well, I have a fair amount of pianistic talent myself. I have studied piano (and music in general) for many years under many accomplished teachers. Just because I don't flaunt my talent around on the internet doesn't mean that I am incapable, though.
But seriously, the theory and composition lessons won't hurt.
