PS issues
on: July 17, 2009, 07:10:13 AM
Every day, at the same time the PS website messes up...It's only usually for a few seconds to a minute....what is going on? And why does it do that?

It's scheduled maintenance tasks which are causing heavy server load during a short period.

Just a few minutes ago, 1:10am(moutain standard time), I couldn't get in the forum after I logged in and clicked *Piano Forum*.  And I tried to get in by clicking elsewhere, but to no success.   Apparently my user name *got in* but not me.  And so I had to leave the site completely and get off-line for a minute or so.  Then returned here, get logged in and things worked out fine.  Usually I hardly have problems getting in the forum after I get logged in.

best wishes,

Why am I always *online* in PS when I have been off line for the past 3 hours?
My user name is already here when I just logged in now. ( Time: 4:31pm.  )
I am not always online here all day.. :P

best wishes,

Is it just me or when you go to Index of Audition Room,

https://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=31501.0

do you also see that that the black borders on the side dissapear and are white? Its not like that on my other computer but on my Imac its showing up white border (probably cos it has 1680x1050 resolution as display)

The "members online" list on the home page is currently not updating in real time but section at the bottom of the forum page does.

That page is huge in size which could be the reason for some computers/browsers having a problem displaying it correctly. If you let the page load completely it most often looks OK.
