What's this music?
on: September 18, 2009, 05:44:15 PM
Hi!

Can anyone tell who wrote this music is and what it is?

Listen to the background music in the first and second video on this page:

I would guess it's a modern/20th century piano concerto, i hear classical influences of Mozart but also humoristic slapstick-like elements. Maybe Shostakovich or an American composer?

Thanks a lot.
Marten.

It's Poulenc's Concerto for Two Pianos, so yes, it's a mid-20th century piano concerto (not a modern one, really).
