Julliard Pre-College devision
on: November 29, 2009, 05:48:13 PM
Hi,
I was at
www.Julliard.edu
to get some information about Julliards pre-college devision. There it said that the students there are at very advanced level and are the best young musicians of their particular age. I was wondering, how advanced are these? If any of you know, of those who study piano at around age 15.
I have played:
Chopin etude Op. 10, no.3
Chopin etude Op. 25, no.9*
Chopin Polonaise, military*
Liszt Liebestraum
Mozart sonata, K 330
Mozart sonata k 283*
and others..
* = I'm learning right now.
I'm not saying i am going to try to enter (tho i would really like to) but i would like to know how advanced these students are in julliards' pre-college division.
