Rachmaninoff op.23 no.6 Eb major
on: January 30, 2010, 04:29:29 PM
i have just got a new recorder through the post and decided to put it through its paces. i have been working on this relatively unknown gem and although i havent been here for a while i wanted to share it as it would be a shame for people not to have heard it! (the piece that is, not my playing :p)
enjoy!

Yes you are right, this is a true gem, thank you for posting it
It's very beautifully played!
There's only one little problem you might want to work on: some of the arpeggios (not all of them, just some) interrupt the flow a tiny bit, instead of going with it.

...hey, nicely played! I think you have a good feel for the piece too. And I don't think it's a relatively unknown gem...
I can't quite tell whether it's the recorder (what sort of gear are you using?), the piano (what is it?), or you, but there are occassions where I wish the notes are more connected (legato, that is). I don't think it's you though, since most of the chords are actually nicely shaped.
Oh well...good work!

No way! Even more? As it is, there is already a lot in the first line alone!
